We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airline Business Analyst to collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements specific to airline operations. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of airline systems, including reservations, ticketing, flight operations, and customer service. This role will also involve working with APIs, cloud platforms, and contributing to the integration of airline-specific software and systems.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to airline operations (reservations, ticketing, flight management, customer service).
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of airline-specific software, including reservation systems (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus), flight management systems, and CRM tools.
Utilize business analysis tools and techniques such as use case modeling, process mapping, and requirements documentation to provide comprehensive solutions.
Design, develop, and analyze APIs, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external systems.
Work with RESTful and SOAP APIs and use API management tools like Postman, Swagger, or Apigee to document, test, and deploy API solutions.
Ensure the security of APIs by adhering to standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL protocols.
Engage in cloud-based development and deployment using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Contribute to and support microservices architecture design and implementation.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure best practices are followed during the development and release of solutions.
Create process models, workflows, and diagrams to visualize and communicate proposed changes to stakeholders.
Prepare and present reports, presentations, and documentation to stakeholders at various levels, providing clear and actionable insights.
Strong Knowledge of Airline Operations: Proven experience in airline business operations, including reservations, ticketing, flight operations, and customer service.
Business Analysis Expertise: Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as use case modeling, process mapping, and requirements documentation.
API Knowledge: Experience in API analysis, design, and development with a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs.
API Management Tools: Familiarity with API management tools such as Postman, Swagger, or Apigee.
API Security Protocols: Knowledge of security protocols, including OAuth, JWT, and SSL.
Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Microservices Architecture: Experience in microservices design and implementation.
DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, ensuring smooth development and deployment.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Tools & Systems: Experience with airline-specific systems like Sabre, Amadeus, and CRM tools.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Experience in the airline industry or travel-related services.
Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
