Full time, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Contract: one-year fixed-term contract
Join CSC Netherlands’ dynamic Operational & Real Estate Services (ORES) team and play a key role in supporting legal entities containing a business and/or legal entities which are part of real estate investment structures, all for an international and diverse client base. Reporting directly to the Manager – Legal & Corporate, you will work closely with colleagues, clients and internal experts in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
As a Company Lawyer / Legal Corporate Officer, you play a critical role in the success of our business. Your typical day will see you working on a wide range of diverse and dynamic projects.
Some of the things you’ll be doing
- Act as a trusted contact for clients and prospective clients, on legal, corporate, and administrative matters
- Manage day-to-day legal and administrative activities for corporate and private legal structures, with a strong focus on operational entities and real estate investments
- Draft, review, and coordinate board/shareholder resolutions and related documentation
- Prepare and attend board/shareholder meetings, including drafting minutes
- Manage client portfolios, including KYC, AML and compliance requirements
- Handle daily client communications and liaise with stakeholders such as (legal/tax) advisors, authorities, etc.
- Coordinate company incorporations, bank account openings and liquidations
- Ensure accurate maintenance of client records and that companies remain in good legal standing
- Contribute actively to the team’s success and help uphold CSC reputation as a leading corporate services provider
- Acting as ‘gatekeeper’, protecting the Dutch financial system and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, such as the WTT (“Wet Toezicht Trustkantoren”), Wwft (“Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme”) and European directives
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- Master’s degree in law or equivalent legal qualification
- Background in financial services, international law, tax, trust, or corporate services
- A minimum of 2-4 years of working experience
- Fluency in English; additional languages (& Dutch) are a plus
- Strong client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- Proactive, ownership-driven, and eager to grow in a challenging environment
- Open-minded, pragmatic, and solution-oriented
This is a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of conversion to a permanent position with a salary range of EUR 50k+ depending on experience
