As a Cyber & Disaster Resilience Subject Matter Expert, you will:
- Lead resilience assessment workshops with technical and block teams to evaluate IT landscapes and systems.
- Analyse the current security posture, identify existing threats, assess risk exposure, and recommend strategic disaster recovery solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and technical experts across multiple teams to align on cyber resilience goals.
- Contribute to IT risk assessments, review existing controls, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cyber threat action groups to address and mitigate resilience-related threats.
- Document risk reports, IT assessment worksheets, and workshop findings in alignment with industry best practices.
- Influence and support key stakeholders across lines of defence through expert guidance and strategic insight.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 6–8 years of experience in IT, cyber security, and/or disaster recovery with a focus on resilience planning.
- Proven expertise in evaluating enterprise systems including applications, servers, networks, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, vulnerability assessment, and the technical dimensions of modern cyberattacks.
- Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO27001, ISO22301, ISO27005.
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity threat management and resilience engineering/architecture.
- Ability to blend qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure and report on cyber resilience exposure.

- Effectively interpret system architecture and challenge existing infrastructure to define disaster recovery scenarios.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship during workshops, driving alignment and collaboration among teams.
- Recommend recovery solutions that cover applications, data, infrastructure, and security elements.
- Evaluate existing IT controls and propose enhancements to improve the organization’s resilience posture.
- Work across multiple stakeholder groups to define risk tolerances, contingency plans, and business continuity strategies.

- Communicate technical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
