The director of revenue management is driving profitable revenue strategies and tactics along with the senior revenue managers and the global revenue management team. They will focus on long term strategies, team development and an agile way of working within the team. The focus is on maximizing the revenue opportunities and driving market share through team collaborations, system automation and process efficiencies.
Responsibilities focus on topline performance from a revenue and system and process oriented viewpoint. They translate the overall company's strategy into pricing strategies and optimization tactics maximizing optimal profitable revenue from each segment. They ensure pricing strategies are performed in line with the long term plans of the company aligned with the sales & marketing teams.
Whilst the day to day management of the cluster revenue managers sits with the senior revenue managers, they help govern the markets with a strong helicopter view incorporating general orchestration of the commercial strategies and amend accordingly with their peers from other commercial disciplines (sales & marketing).
Key Responsibilities
– Making sure the company is on track to make its budgeted revenues/costs
– Organize and coordinate revenue team efforts, allocate responsibilities based on the needs of hotels, and stimulate multi team communication
– Monitor, challenge and action the ROI on distribution costs related to topline room revenue
– Focus is on topline optimization including important revenue drivers as breakfast sales and meeting room sales
– Continuous evolution of the team and structure to fit the the growth of citizenM
– Along with the regional revenue managers: build on the companies revenue management structure to support citizenM’s expansion
– Taking an active participation in account management of the main OTA and GDS partners
– Develop action plans particularly focusing on long term revenue strategies supporting stability in high and low economic conditions
– Liaise and cooperate with the commercial leads (sales, groups & meetings and growth) in order to assess direction and make best decisions on development
– Along with the BI team, prepare useful dashboards for ad-hoc presentation of KPI’s
– Be the business partner for FP&A (Finance) in order to create clarity in long term business plan goals both on revenue and cost side and create actions out of strategies starting from budgets up to multi year business plans.
Qualifications / skills
– A solid track record in a leading global role within revenue management
– Bachelor/master degree
– Experience in operating in an agile environment is a pre
– Fluent in English

Location: Voorschoten Support Office. Hybrid working is possible, on average twice a week in the office. No fully remote.
