We’re looking for a colleague to join our new warehouse team in Amsterdam in the position all-round Warehouse Operative/Logistiek medewerker.

The Warehouse Operative provides warehouse services assigned through safe, efficient, cost effective and accurate handling of products and materials. This position involves all phases of loading, unloading, staging and storage of customer products as well as the use of computer equipment.

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Accurately pick, pack, put away, and load customer products onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves, both manually and using appropriate robotized or motorized equipment.
•    Process customer products in accordance with established procedures and safety regulations.
•    Operate motorized and/or robotized equipment and machinery to perform daily tasks.
•    Unload inbound products from containers and trucks.
•    Load picked orders according to customer specifications and complete all required documentation.
•    Assign trailers to the appropriate dock while following all safety rules and company policies.
•    Count, weigh, and record the number of units of materials handled.
•    Assist with physical inventory activities.
•    Apply the 5S Lean methodology to maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organized facility.

What we are looking for:

•    1-2 years warehouse or related work experience
•    Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents 
•    Experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) 
•    Fluency in English and any other language skills are a plus
•    Strong time management and organizational skills
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Peak season may require flexibility regarding overtime and shift schedules
•    Reach/forklift certificate is an advantage
