Your impact at MUFG
The purpose of the Resilience Team is to oversee the implementation of the resilience strategy, ensuring efficient and seamless operations of key business processes, identifying and implementing change to drive efficiencies and enhance controls. The team bridges design and execution, driving change whilst keeping the bank safe, secure and compliant. The Resilience Team plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, mitigating risks, and fostering innovation.
The Resilience Team reports to the Chief Operating Officer, and leads initiatives on business continuity and information security, procurement and vendor management, outsourcing and third party risk management, end-to-end process optimisation and a robust operational resilience framework in accordance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
We are looking for an experienced Technology professional, to help oversee the Bank’s Operational Resilience strategy, with a specific focus on Cyber Security, the resilience of the bank’s IT architecture. The team acts as first line Information Security Risk Management, partnering with second line Risk division.
This jobs involves close collaboration with the Technology teams in Amsterdam and London and various other departments, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to the Information Systems Security Policy (ISSP).
The job requires a proven track record with regards to information security and technology risks, knowledge of applicable regulations such as the EBA guidelines on Outsourcing, Risk and Security Frameworks, BIS Principles on Operational Resilience and the Digital Operational Resilience Act.
The role includes the following:
Working in the Resilience Team, driving a variety of tasks and initiatives, to ensure a robust set of Technology configurations, helping the bank remain in control. Identify and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities to operations, including cyber-attacks, system failures, and other disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies to address identifies risks.
