As part of the Continental Europe Team, you’ll play a key role in underwriting new and existing business accounts while delivering world-class service to our broker partners. Reporting to the Strategic Underwriting Development Manager PRS CEMENA (based in London), you’ll collaborate with a European team of 70 professionals, including a close-knit team of 2 in the Netherlands.
We’re looking for someone ideally based in our Amsterdam office, but we’re open to candidates in Rotterdam or Antwerp. If you’re passionate about luxury insurance and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
Transactional:
Responsible for underwriting new business, appraisals and renewal business up to your agreed authority limits.
Proactively round out existing accounts and cross-sell other classes of business.
Broker Management:
Demonstrate a good level of proficiency in the use of the management information systems to be able to understand the data, analyze any trends and report on the underwriting performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with broker partners, ensuring mutual success.
Sales Disciplines:
Conversion of New Business, through pre-qualification of target prospects.
Assist in a wider variety of tasks as part of a project team to launch new products across the CE region.
Work with the team to ensure all target quotes are monitored and pursued to ensure conversion rates influenced positively.
Ensure all communications with broker partners are collaborative and sales focused to ensure both retention & new business opportunities are maximized.
