On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Systems and Control Engineer to join their innovative team in Amsterdam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of sustainable home energy solutions and make a real impact on climate change.
Job Description
As a Systems and Control Engineer, you will:- Develop models of home energy products including HVAC components and batteries
- Design state estimators to track the home energy ecosystem in real-time
- Create algorithms for home energy management, balancing comfort, efficiency, and reliability
- Implement low-level controls for rapid-prototyping of control algorithms
- Collaborate on test setups and optimal sensor placements
- Develop and update simulation environments
- Work in cross-functional teams to integrate modeling and control algorithms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software, Control, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of working experience in systems control, energy management, or related field
- Expertise in developing models for control
- Proficiency in Python
- Understanding of control theory principles for home energy management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow
