Logistics Services Specialist

What You Will Do:
- Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect and verify their content, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Shipment Preparation and Dispatch: Prepare shipments by labeling, palletizing, and securing them for transportation, and organize dispatch.
- Documentation Management: Ensure that shipping documentation is complete and accurate, including import/export checks.
- Communication: Exchange information and reply to requests from internal and external stakeholders, including other STRADE departments, customers and their logistics service providers, customs broker, etc.
- Data Registration: Register data and transactions in the AvSight system.
- Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring the right quantity and quality of products are prepared for shipping.
- Operational Issue Reporting: Report and address any operational issues, product damages, or discrepancies in a timely and proactive manner.
- Material Handling (10% of total activities): Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move assets within the warehouse using various equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, and hand pallet trucks (training will be provided where necessary).
- Quality Standards Maintenance: Maintain high-quality standards through collaboration with the Quality department.
- Shift Work: Perform logistics and warehousing operations in shifts as follows:
- Weekdays working hours (3 shifts): Early 6am-2.30pm, Day 8.30am – 5pm, or Late: 2.30pm – 10pm;
- Weekends (1 shift) 8am-4.30pm in a 4 weeks shift pattern
- Periodical on-call duty (one week) every 8 weeks 10pm - 6am.
What You Bring:
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, customer service, call center, or similar with strong learning mindset and ability to understand technical and operational aspects of the job.
- Good customer-oriented and general communication skills.
- Can-do attitude, flexibility to adapt to a new environment.
- Ability to quickly learn operational processes and optimize them over time.
- Good use of Excel, Outlook, Word and company systems for data entry and operations tracking.
- Readiness and ability to perform administrative, customer facing and material handling tasks (e.g., ERP system management, documentation handling, communication with different stakeholders, loading and unloading material).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Global mindset, team oriented mentality, ability to easily make interpersonal connections and work in multinational environment.
- Readiness for a rotating shift and on-call duty schedule (including weekends).
- Valid work and residence permit for the Netherlands.
Additional Plus:
- Forklift driving experience.
- License in Dangerous Goods transport by road and air.
- ASA 100 or part 145 awareness.
- Salesforce or AvSight experience.
