Procurement Specialist / Buyer (FMCG)

“Make a Difference as our Procurement Specialist/Buyer – Help Companies Reduce Food Waste!”

• Source, meet, and negotiate with dozens of suppliers, with the aim of finding great products and reducing food waste. 
• Take ownership of supplier relationships and product category development. 
• Drive smarter purchasing and pricing choices with powerful, in-house software designed for real impact.
• Collaborate closely with the rest of the procurement team, other functions, and our warehouse partner.
• Contribute to the continuous development of our tools and processes.

• Background in procurement, buying, account management or a commercial role -  with a strong interest in the grocery and FMCG sector. Ideally you are passionate about food waste.
• Commercial drive: enthusiasm for supplier acquisition and building new relationships.
• Data-driven mindset: comfortable analyzing data and translating it into smart purchasing and pricing decisions. Spreadsheet wizardry.
• Negotiation skills: confident in securing great deals while fostering long-term partnerships.
• Collaboration skills: strong team player who enjoys working cross-functionally.
• Digital skills: solid Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel 
• Education: higher education degree in a technical, commercial, or related field like procurement, food & business or supply chain (other relevant qualifications or experience also considered).
• Language skills: preferably fluent in Dutch, with good English (our internal company language).
