As a Business Analyst you will gather and analyse business technology and strategic requirements through engagements in Dutch financial services in the field of regulatory change, risk and finance. You will support new initiatives, conduct data analysis, including market and competitive research, and assist in preparing reports and documentation. You have an affinity with AI concepts and their application in business and have an understanding of IT systems, data management and AI concepts. You are able to organise and support senior management tasks and stakeholder management with strong detail-oriented skills and can turn complexity into structured workflows with actionable steps, while applying creative thinking to business and strategic challenges, with a basic understanding of strategic planning.
If you also have experience in analysing data and identifying trends using tools like Excel and basic SQL, conducting basic research (including market research and industry trend analysis), and are an effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills, we encourage you to apply.
What will you do
Assist in engaging with different stakeholders to understand business models, products, technology, and strategic needs and objectives;
Conduct research, including market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend analysis;
Gather, analyse, and synthesise data from various sources to support business decisions and strategic planning;
Collaborate with consultants and technical teams, including AI-driven solutions and strategic initiatives;
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation;
Ensure documentation is clear and accessible to stakeholders, including strategic insights;
Support the management of relationships with key stakeholders;
Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, and strategic partners under supervision.
Experience you will bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, (Sustainable) Finance or Economics;
Up to one year of experience in business analysis, internships, or relevant project work during your studies, in the fields of risk & data, financial & non-financial risk or sustainable finance in Dutch financial services;
Relevant coursework or internships (in the field of financial services) in business analysis, strategy development, information management, technology, AI studies, or market research is a plus;
Fluency in Dutch and English;
