This is an exciting time to join the team as we step up operations in new countries and commence work on new and challenging projects. As a result of this growth, we are looking to recruit a Data Centre Security Lead.

Job Summary 

The Security Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the on-site security team, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and infrastructure. This role combines hands-on security duties with leadership, coordination, and administrative responsibilities. The Security Lead acts as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. 


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination 

  • Supervise a team of Security Guards across multiple shifts.
  • Ensure 24/7/365 coverage through effective scheduling and shift planning.
  • Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Act as the escalation point for incidents and emergencies.

Security Operations Oversight 

  • Ensure proper execution of access control, surveillance, and patrol duties.
  • Monitor and manage security systems (CCTV, BMS, EMS, access control).
  • Review and approve incident reports, shift logs, and service tickets.
  • Conduct quality checks on rounds, readings, and technical tasks.
  • Coordinate with other departments for security-related support (e.g., Remote Hands tasks).

Incident & Emergency Management 

  • Lead the response to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Ensure timely escalation and documentation of all incidents.
  • Participate in and lead root cause analyses (RCA) for major incidents.
  • Organize and lead emergency drills and tabletop exercises.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evacuation procedures and emergency contacts.

Compliance & Training 

  • Ensure all team members complete training and certifications.
  • Maintain and update SOPs, emergency procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of policies and procedures for compliance.
  • Support audits and inspections related to security and QHSE standards.

Communication & Reporting 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the security team and site management.
  • Provide regular reports on security status, incidents, and team performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all security activities.
  • Represent the security team in cross-functional meetings and reviews.

Qualifications 

  • Proven experience in a security supervisory or lead role.
  • Valid security certification (e.g., Security Officer Level 2 or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and incident response.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a high-security environment.

The role is a full-time position and your base salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be highly competitive. The opportunity is located in Dublin, Ireland and will include business travel as needed to meet business demands but will likely be nominal.
